Figure 33. Now install the low reverse clutch. Soak the frictions before installation. Install wavy steel first, then a steel plate, then a friction. Continue until all the frictions and steels are installed, there will be 5 steels and 5 frictions. Install the new one-way clutch bearing in the center support, then install the center support in the case.

Figure 34. Install a new bushing in the sun gear. We chose to use the Sonnax Wide Sun Gear Bushing, to give more surface area on the shaft.

Figure 35. The picture shows the sun gear installed in the Sonnax Smart Shell. The stock shell is prone to breakage and cracking. As you can see in the photo, there is a torrington bearing between the sun gear and planetary and the shell. this is one of the big differences to keep it from failing, along with thicker metal. The stock shell just uses a plastic spacer.
